The finca was built approximately 60 years ago, originally to provide a "new home" for US Army crew members. The finca is nestled within a plot of 15 units. These units are almost entirely surrounded by a river (the Guadalete). Over the past few decades, the finca has been steadily expanded and given new uses. Initially, the finca was primarily used for livestock farming. Around 25 years ago, there was a change of ownership, and the finca was converted to viticulture.
